SUBJECT: CONTINUE THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR ORDINANCE NO. 19-1036
AMENDING TITLE 9 (ZONING REGULATIONS), CHAPTER 1 OF THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, ADOPTING THE TEMPLE CITY
ZONING MAP , REPEALING THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN , AND
ADOPTING AN ADDENDUM TO THE TEMPLE CITY MID-CENTURY
GENERAL PLAN UPDATE AND CROSSROADS SPECIFIC PLAN
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to continue the public hearing for this item unt i l the City
Counc il's regular meeting of September 17 , 2019 .
BACKGROUND:
The City Council held a public hearing , discussed , and provided feedback on this it em on
Tuesday , July 16 , 2019 . At the end of the hearing , the City Council continued the public
hearing until August 20 , 2019. Staff needs additional time to prepare supplemental
information to assist the C ity Council in mak ing its decision .
