COUNCIL "BROWN BAGEL" WORK SESSION, AUGUST 2, 2012
CALL TO ORDER
The August 2, 2012, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:33
A.M. by President Pro Tempore Bob Weber in the absence of Mayor Eric
Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Bray, Luebbert, Mihalevich, Pope Schulte, Scrivner, and
Weber
Absent: Carroll, Henry, and Prather
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
2012 -52 (adopting 2012 -2012 budget) — Councilman Schulte stated that this will
be placed on the Informal Calendar when it is scheduled to be voted on at the
August 20 meeting.
2012 -53 (supplemental appropriations) — City Administrator Nathan Nickolaus
stated that this bill had been removed from the agenda after the packet had been
published and that is why it is not included in the packet.
Closed Session — Nathan Nickolaus stated he will send out a memo to the
Council later this week providing them the topic of Monday night's closed
session.
Miscellaneous — Councilman Bryan Pope asked staff to provide the Council with
information regarding how much grant funding has been generated by the
position of Redevelopment and Grants Division Director in comparison with the
cost to fill that position.
