SUBJECT: PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION ACTIONS -MEETING OF
NOVEMBER 20 , 2019
RECOMM ENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Parks and Recreation Commission
(Commission) actions from their meeting of November 20, 2019.
BACKGROU ND:
On November 20, 2019, the Commiss ion held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the November 20, 2019, Commission meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner -Baroldi, Haddad, Tarin , Vice -C hairman Rosso,
Chairman Vance
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused: Commissioner -None
2. CONSENT CAL ENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the October 16, 2019, meeting and
received and filed the Monthly Report for October 2019.

3. NEW BUSINESS
A. REQUEST FROM TEMPLE CITY AMERICAN YOUTH SOCCER
ORGANIZATION FOR AUTHORIZATION TO ALLOW FOOD TRUCKS AT LIVE
OAK PARK ON NOVEMBER 23, 2019 FOR THEIR CLOSING CEREMONY
The Commission approved the request from Temple City American Youth
Soccer Organization for authorization to allow food trucks at Live Oak Park on
November 23, 2019 for their closing ceremony.
4. COMMUNICATIONS
A. The Commission received a verbal presentation regarding new hires within the
Parks and Recreation Department.
5. UPDATE FROM PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTOR
A. The Commission received the Parks and Recreation Director's Report for the
month of November 2019.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Commission actions of November 20, 2019, furthers the City's Strategic
Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2019-20 City Budget.
