SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS -
MEETING OF JANUARY 8, 2020
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of January 8, 2020.
BACKGROUND:
On January 8, 2020 the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The following is a summary of actions taken at the January 8, 2020 meeting:
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner-Catalan, Palmieri, Xu, Stoll, Nimri
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused: Commissioner-None
2. CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of the December 11, 2019 meeting.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held three hearings in person. Three citations were upheld.
The Commission held two hearings by written declaration. Two citations were
upheld.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reviewing the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2019-20 City Budget.
