SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 29, 2020
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Fish called the Special Meeting to order at 7:00 a.m. in the City Hall
Community Room located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember—Man, Sternquist, Chavez, Fish
ABSENT: Councilmember — Yu
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, Senior Community Preservation Officer
Tran and Building and Code Inspector Martinez
Captain Flores, Lieutenant Ruiz, Sergeant Miranda, Deputy
Chico and Deputy Lam
' Mayor Pro Tem Chavez made a motion to Councilmember Yu
for cause. Seconded by Mayor Fish.

A. QUALITY OF LIFE
Sergeant Miranda gave an overview of the sex offender registrants, parolees,
and probationers in the City.
B. OPERATIONS
Sergeant Miranda provided an update regarding arrests and operations in the
City.
C. CRIME TRENDS
Sergeant Miranda provided an overview of crime trends in neighboring cities
affecting Temple City.

Sergeant Miranda provided an update on the special assignment team
activities.

Sergeant Miranda reported on the public outreach conducted by the special
assignment team.

Sergeant Miranda announced upcoming meetings and events that will be
conducted in the City.
