COUNCIL "BROWN BAGEL" WORK SESSION, OCTOBER 11, 2012
CALL TO ORDER
The October 11, 2012, City Council "Brown Bagel" Meeting was convened at 7:35 A.M.
by Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Bray, Luebbert, Mihalevich, Prather, Schulte, Scrivner, and Weber
Absent: Pope
Arrived after meeting convened: Carroll (7:43 A.M.), Henry (7:40 A.M.)
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bills:
2012 -76 (Noise Ordinance) — Questions were asked by the Council regarding this bill.
Councilman Bray asked Chief Schroeder to be prepared on Monday night to explain how
the Police Department would enforce the new ordinance if passed.
*Councilman Larry Henry arrived at this point in the meeting (7:40 A.M.)
City Counselor Drew Hilpert explained the details of Bill 2012 -76.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived at this point in the meeting during Mr.
Hilpert's comments. (7:43 A.M.)
2012 -84 (Amending Stormwater Code) Councilman Scrivner stated he will request
suspension of the rules.
2012 -87 (Vacating Chestnut Street R -O -W) Following discussion, Council directed staff
to take necessary steps to arrange a public hearing to be held on this matter at the
November 5 Council Meeting.
2012 -89 (Amending Ordinance 15010) Councilman Schulte stated he will request
suspension of the rules.
