Agenda Review & Updates-
Introduction of Guests:
Review minutes from previous meeting: Minutes were reviewed, Terry Edvalson Motioned, Forrest Stanley
seconded, all were in favor.
Business:
1. Parks and Recreation Annual Report- Terry shared with the committee copies of his speaking notes
from presenting to council on September 26th. Terry reported council had no questions for him and
or Stefanie who were present for the Annual Report.
2. Master Plan- The committee would like to outline a timeline for the process of renewing the Master
Plan. Forrest thinks it would be helpful to have Garret from GIS come review the City owned parcels
under discussion in the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The hope is this will help the committee
discuss and visualize current park space and the needs of the growing McCall Community. Kurt Wolf
will also share the web map he created and shared with council to speak to certain properties and
lastly share the University of Idaho plans.
3. Recreation Programs- Stefanie Bork shared a brief update on current programs and the upcoming
programs and events the department is planning. The department is looking forward to their "No
School Fun Days" program where staff will take elementary aged students on day trips in the
surrounding area; Mountain Roots Orchard, Mundo hot-springs, Cascade Recreation Center and
Roxy Theater. The first trip went very successful and another 15 kids are registered for the November
Stn Day trip.

lights on the downtown City tree. The department rented a boom from United Rentals to help
complete this work. The lights will be displayed on at the First Friday celebration hosted by the
chamber December 6th on 2nd street.
b. Stefanie reported that advertising of the two new fulltime parks positions has begun and several
individuals have expressed interest via social media and 3 applications have been submitted to
date. The position will remain open till filled.
5. Open Seat- Corey Nelson's seat is being currently advertised in the Star News Letters of interest are
being accepted through the Clerk's Department. The board was thankful to Corey for his many years
