COUNCIL "BROWN BAGEL" WORK SESSION, NOVEMBER 15, 2012
CALL TO ORDER
Election of Presiding Officer:
In the absence of both Mayor Eric Struemph and President Pro Tempore Bob Weber,
City Counselor Drew Hilpert advised that the Council will need to elect one of its
members to preside over today's meeting.
Councilman Shawn Schulte made a motion that Councilman Bob Scrivner be nominated
to preside over the meeting, seconded by Councilman Rick Prather. There being no
further nominations, the motion was approved unanimously.
Councilman Bob Scrivner called the meeting to order at 7:31 A.M.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Carroll, Henry, Luebbert, Mihalevich, Prather, Schulte, Scrivner
Absent: Bray, Pope, and Weber
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
2012 -112 (supplemental appropriation for Airport) — Staff answered questions about
this supplemental appropriation regarding the General Fund balance after the
appropriations are made.
2012 -100 (supplemental appropriation for Animal Shelter) — Staff answered
questions about the extra work that was needed and additions made.
2012 -87 (Chestnut Street vacation) — Public Works Director Roger Schwartze stated
there will be information about the public and Lincoln -owned streets on the campus as
well as some traffic information.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 7:58 A.M.
