RESOLUTION 20-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
ADOPTING THE MCCALL CITY COUNCIL 2020 REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE;
PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the McCall City Code §1.8.2 states regular meetings of the Council shall be held on
the second and fourth Thursdays of each and every month at the City Hall, 216 East Park Street,
McCall,Idaho,except that when such regular meetings fall upon a legal holiday,the same shall be
held on the preceding day unless otherwise fixed by the Council; and
WHEREAS, Idaho State Code §50-706 states that one- half(1/2) plus one (1) of the members of
the full council shall have the power to call special meetings of the city council,the object of which
shall be submitted to the council in writing; the call and object, as well as the disposition thereof,
shall be entered upon the journal of the clerk; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the McCall City Council meetings are to make a decision or to
deliberate toward a decision for the business of the City of McCall in accordance to the Open
Meeting Law described in Idaho Code Title 67.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: To accommodate for the 2020 AIC Conference in June,the Schedule for the regular
meetings of the McCall City Council for the months of May and June 2020 will be the first and
third Thursdays of each month at 5:30 pm at the Legion Hall, City Hall Lower Level.
Section 2: To accommodate for the holidays the Schedule for the regular meetings of the
McCall City Council for the months of November and December 2020 will be the first and third
Thursdays of each month at 5:30 pm at the Legion Hall, City Hall Lower Level. The location for
the November meetings may change to accommodate the Legionnaires.
Section 3: The Schedule for the regular meeting of the McCall City Council for the months of
January through April 2020 and July through October 2020 will be the second and fourth
Thursdays of the month at 5:30 pm, at the Legion Hall, City Hall Lower Level.
Section 4: The Schedule for the special meeting work sessions of the McCall City Council for
the month of January will be the 10th at 9:00 am at the Community Center. The Schedule for the
work session February through December will be the Friday after the second regular meeting of
each month at 9:00 am at the Legion Hall, City Hall Lower Level. This schedule is subject to
change as it for Special Meetings of the Council, any change will be posted no less than 24 hours
prior to the meeting time.

Section 5: This resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its approval and passage.
