A RESOLUTION APPROVING NO PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF RAILROAD
STREET FROM GRANT STREET TO MAIN STREET
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa is responsible to determine where
certain traffic control devices such as no parking zones are to be placed as defined in
Chapter 61 of the Tiffin Municipal Code; and,
Whereas, the Council has determined that additional no parking on the north side of
Railroad Street from Grant Street to Main Street is necessary; and,
Whereas, with the passage of this resolution the Tiffin City Council does hereby
authorize and direct the purchase and placement of 'No Parking' signs on the north side
of Railroad Street between the above mentioned streets,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa that parking
shall not be allowed on the north side of Railroad Street from Grant Street to Main
Street and no parking signs shall be placed between those streets.
On the 18th day of October, 2022, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2022-089, A
RESOLUTION APPROVING NO PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF RAILROAD
STREET FROM GRANT TO MAIN STREET and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Olney.
Nays: None.
Absent: Orris.
Whereupon four Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2022-089, A RESOLUTION APPROVING NO
PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF RAILROAD STREET FROM GRANT STREET
TO MAIN STREET to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 18th day of October, 2022.
