A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UPDATING OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN'S CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
Whereas, The City recognizes that it needs to review its major projects per its Capital
Improvements Plan; and,
Whereas, the City Council recognizes the fact that it will need to update the Plan as
projects or timelines change; and,
Whereas, a motion was made to approve the Capital Improveme is Plan withmoving
the (new) fire station project to FY 2026-2027 with the conditio %at it will e
reassessed if the LOST fails,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of
the attached updated Capital Improvements Plan.

On the 7th day of February, at a regular meetin: -of the T f in City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 20 005, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE UPDATING OF THE CITY ?F T_IFFT S CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PLAN and made a motion fo prova Motion seconded by
Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann
Nays: Olney, Orris, Havens.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present but did not meet the necessary four
votes to override the M or's veto, Mayor Berner declared that the RESOLUTION NO.
2023-005, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UPDATING OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN'S
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN fails.
Passed by the Gtr Council 4-1 on the 17th day of January, 2023. Resolution was
vetoed by ayc o January 24, 2023.
Vote cverricte 117 yor's veto failed by the City Council on the 7th day of February,
2023.
