A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UPDATING OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN'S CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
Whereas, The City recognizes that it needs to review its major projects per its Capital
Improvements Plan; and,
Whereas, the City Council recognizes the fact that it will need to update the Plan as
projects or timelines change; and,
Whereas, a motion was made to approve the Capital Improvements Plan with moving
the (new) fire station project to FY 2026-2027 with the condition that it will be
reassessed if the LOST fails,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the attached updated Capital Improvements Plan.
On the 17th day of January, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-005, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE UPDATING OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN'S CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PLAN and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Havens.
Ayes: Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens, Orris.
Nays: Olney.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the RESOLUTION NO. 2023-005, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
UPDATING OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN'S CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN to be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 17th day of January, 2023.
