COUNCIL "BROWN BAGEL" WORK SESSION, JANUARY 31, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
The January 31, 2013, Brown Bagel Work Session was convened at 7:35 A.M. by Mayor
Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Carroll, Mihalevich, Prather, Schulte, and Scrivner
Absent: Bray, Luebbert, Pope, and Weber
Arrived after the meeting was convened: *Henry (arrived at 7:45 a.m.),
A quorum was present after the arrival of Councilman Henry.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Conference Center Selection Committee: Discussion was held regarding the best
dates for all Council Members to attend the meetings to discuss the RFPs received on
the Conference Center. More discussion will be held on dates Monday night.
Consent Agenda:
Public Works Director Roger Schwartze explained Change Order 1 which was listed on
the Consent Agenda.
Bills:
2012 -135 and 20102 -136 (Placing Charter Changes Pertaining to Elections on
August Ballot) — *Councilman Henry arrived during this discussion (7:45 a.m.) City
Counselor Drew Hilpert explained what the two different bills were designed to
accomplish, and that two bills were written at the direction of the Council to allow the
Council to choose which option it prefers to place before the voters.

The meeting adjourned at 8:03 a.m.
