COUNCIL "PRE- MEETING" WORK SESSION, FEBRUARY 19, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
The February 19, 2013, City Council "Pre- Meeting" Meeting was convened at
5:45 P.M. by President Pro Tempore Bob Weber in the absence of Mayor Eric
Struemph who will miss tonight's meeting due to illness.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Bray, Henry, Luebbert, Mihalevich Pope, Prather, Schulte,
and Weber
Absent: Carroll
Arrived after meeting was convened: Scrivner (arrived at 5:48 P.M.)
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bills:
2012 -135 and 2012 -136 (Charter amendments pertaining to election dates):
Councilman Ralph Bray stated that he would be making a motion to place both of
these on the Informal Calendar at the request of sponsor, Councilwoman Carrie
Carroll, who will be absent tonight.
2013 -143 (reorganization for Assistant City Administrator / Finance Director
position)
Councilman Weber stated he plans to withdraw this bill and send it back through
a Council Committee for further discussion and allow for more public input.
Liaison Reports:
Councilman Henry will make a report tonight on the JCTV Steering Committee.
