Special Meeting. May 28th 1946
ltiayor Vahlsing c�.11ed a special meeting of the Council
for the purpose of considering a request for right of
way, across Monroe Street, by the Railroad Company.
Councilmen present- Boeke- Heddens- Hook-Junker- Okones.
After due consideration it was moved by Okones,who made the
f olloe��3ng Resolution, and moved its adoption, second by
� Junker;-
- " Be it resolved by the council of the Town of lyellsburg
Iowa-. That-
Nhereas the Chicago Rock Islanc, & Pac Ry Co desire to
extend a spur of track, running easterly adjacent to the main
right of way track, connecting with the present ppur known a.s
# 4 track,for about 300 feet, and, wh�.vreas this extention will
cross Monroe Street at this point,- Theref or-
" Be it resolved by the council of the Town of �Vellaburg
Iowa, that permission is hereby granted and authority given
to the CRI&P Ry Co to construct, '.2aintain and operate said track x�c�
across A4onroe Street, to serve the firm of H Lindaman &Sons
warehouse, to be located on the east aide of Monroe Street"
