CALL TO ORDER
The April 11, 2011, Council Work Session was convened at 5:33 P.M. by Mayor John
Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll, Griffith, Harvey (arrived at 5:35 P.M.), Koon, Medin, Penfold,
Pope, Scrivner, Struemph (arrived at 5:34 P.M.)
Absent: Weber
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Sales Tax E
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen gave an update on Sales Tax E and distributed
information showing expenditures over the taxing period to date of Sales Tax E, after which
he answered questions.
Annexation Issues
City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus introduced Mr. Joseph Lauber, an attorney who the City
has asked to look into the issues of annexations by Taos and St. Martins. Mr. Lauber
provided details of the annexations by showing maps, and answered several questions.
Mayor John Landwehr suggested it would be appropriate for City Counselor Nathan
Nickolaus and Mr. Lauber to follow up with the attorneys of the two cities to allow them to
discuss the situation.
Fleet Plan Report
City Administrator Steve Rasmussen and Finance Director Steve Schlueter distributed
information which provided details of the status of the City's vehicle fleet, as well as
expenditures over the past few years, so the Council will be able to consider the issue in the
nearing budget season. Following their presentation, they answered questions asked by the

Council.
