Home My Public Portal About20090420 premeetingCOUNCIL WORK SESSION APRIL 20, 2009 1 CALL TO ORDER The April 20, 2009, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:45 P.M. by Mayor John Landwehr. ATTENDANCE The following Council Members were present at the time the meeting convened: Present: Carroll, Ferguson, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Layton, Medin, Penfold, and Scrivner Absent: Randolph A quorum was present. DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS Appointments: Mayor John Landwehr said he will be appointing the four standing committees tonight as those committees have work that they need to do immediately, but asked the Council to be thinking about the rest of the appointments so he possibly can make those appointments at the May 4 Council meeting. Bills: 2008 -173 - Councilman Jim Penfold will be requesting suspension of the rules so this can be passed by the Old Council and, thus, Substitute Bill 2008 -162 will not be necessary. The meeting adjourned at 5:57 P.M.
