Subject: Recurring Vendors
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide transparency, with respect to
vendors used by the Village over the course of the fiscal year.
On September 13, 2022, Council approved the use of 37 vendors, which on aggregate
may exceed $20,000 (the Village Manager's spending limit) overthe course of the fiscal
year. Within this approval, Council requested notification if/when any vendors on the
list exceed the threshold of $20,000. At this time, the following two vendors have
exceeded $20,000 in aggregate purchases.
Del Marketing LP, provides computer and related equipment to the Village.
Computers are replaced as a part of the Village's 3-year replacement cycle. Equipment
purchased through Dell comes with a Warranty program that allows for next day pro
support or a replacement if repairs cannot be fixed in a timely manner. The computers
upgrade provides village and police employees the ability to perform their duties
efficiently without any delays due to hardware lag or failures allowing them a seamless
computer experience. For the first quarter of FYE 2023 represent disbursements
included a partial payment towards the replacement of twenty-three (23) rugged
laptop computers for the Police Department; and the replacements of nine (9) laptop
computers for Village employees.
NGR Auto, performs maintenance and repair services for the Village's fleet vehicles as
needed. During the first quarter of FYE 2023, the Village has processed 19 individual
invoices from this vendor ranging in cost from $5,236.01 to $117.50 on behalf of the
Bal Harbour Police and Public Works & Beautification Departments.
