The minutes of the regular meeting held on January 9, 1960
were read,approved and adopted.
J.R.Fountain reported bank balances as of January 31, 1960
as follows:
WATER FUND $ 11;016,35
GENERAL FUND 24;$07.47
RESERVE DEPRECIATION FUND 2;630:94
RESERVE DEP. SAVINGS $,000.00
Payments for the month of January 1960:
From Water Fund - Checks # 222 -224 totaled 629.50
From General Fund - Checks # 1063 -1096 totaled 7,636.44
All of the above payments were unanimously approved.
Mayor Lindsay read the police, and water reports.£or Jan.,1960.
Mayor Lindsay said that Jack Carver had completed the work on the
four catch basins near Town Hall on Gulf Stream Road. Mr.-Dodson
moved that the Town pay Jack Carver for the Four (4) catch basins
at$150.00 each plus the 50t of 15" pipe at $ 132.50 plus the
cost of installation provided it is not over $ 200.00 and provided
that Mr. Ben Herr certifies the work as satisfactory. Mr. Hart
seconded and the motion carried.
Mayor Lindsay reported that there was need of about 250 Sq.
yards of fill near Town Hall at the corner of Sea' and Gulf
Stream RoadS•Mr. Iglehart moved that Raleigh Fountain get in
touch with Mr. Ben Herr and thelfconsult with Mayor Lindsay
and have the.; necessary fill balled in and smothed out to
protect the roads around the corner of Sea and Gulf Stream Roads.
Mr. Dodson seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Lindsay read Resolution #.495 Fixing times of Equalization
as March 23, 24, & 25, 1960.. Mr. Hart moved the adoption of Resol-
ution # 495. Mr. Dodson seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Lindsay read Resolution # 496 Accepting the easement deed
for the north portion of Gulf Stream Road. Mr. Iglehart moved the
acceptance of Resolution # 496. Mr. Dodson seconded and the motion
carried unanimously.
Copies of Resloution # 495 & Resolution # 496 are hereby made
a part of these minutes.
The commissioners examined the voter registration rolls. Raleigh
Fountain was instructed to post a copy of the list of names removed
from the rolls on the Main Door of Town Hall.

Mayor Lindsay said that a complaint had been filed during
January, 1960 regarding the holes in Bermuda Lane. He said
that this matter was attended to at a cost of less than $ 6.00.
There being no futher business the Commissioners adjourned.

RESOLUTION # 496
ACCEPTING RIGHT OF WAY DEED TO NORTH PORTION OF
GULF STREAM ROAD ANM DIRECTING THE DEED BE FILED
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town Commission of the Town
of Gulf Stream, Florida in regular session assembled on
February 13, 1960 as follows:
1. That the Town Commission does hereby accept the RIGHT
OF WAY DEED for that portion of Gulf Stream Road lying
north from School Road to the intersection of Sea Road
from Waterway Realty Corporation. It is hereby agreed and
understood that the slid Right of Way shall be used for
public street and road purposes and should it be abandoned
title to same shall revert and revest in the grantor,
Waterway Realty Corporation, its successors and assigns.
2. Thu Town Commission does hereby direct that Mr. Lilienthal
have the above mentioned RIGHT OF WAY DEED RECORDED at the
County Court House of Palm Beach County.
ADOPTED THIS FEBRUARY 13 th, 1960.

RESOLUTION #495
FIXING TIME WHEN TOWN COMMISSIONERS
WILL SIT AS A BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, the Town Charter requires that the Town Commission
shall sit as a Board of Equalization on the annual tax rolls
on a day or days between March 15 and April lst;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ESOLVED, by the Town Commission of the
Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, in regular session as_embled on
February -13-, 1-960 as follows:
1. That the Town Commission will sit as a board of Equalization
at the Town Hall in Gulf Stream, Florida; on the Town Tax Rolls
for the year 1960 on March -Z3` 24 and -2-5 -3 -960;'between the
hours of 10:00 A.M. & 12 :00 Noon of each day for the purpose
of hearing complaints, if any, and of equalizing the tax rolls.
2. Thw Town's Deputy Town Clerk is directed to post a copy of
this resolution on the Town Bulletin Board immediately after
it's adoption and to leave the same on the bulletin board
until April 1, 1960:'
3. All persons having any complaints or objections to the
assessment rolls are directed to make their complaints in
writing and to present the same at the time that the commission
will sit as a Board of Equalization.
ADOPTED THIS 13th DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1960
