CALL TO ORDER

The August 4, 2008, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:47 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll (arrived at 5:49 P.M.), Crane, Ferguson (arrived at 5:48 P.M.),
Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Layton, Medin and Penfold
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Election of Third Ward Council Member: Councilman Jim Penfold asked if the Mayor
would entertain comments prior to the vote from Council Members explaining the reason(s)
for their vote on the candidate of their choice. Mayor John Landwehr stated if the Council
had no objection, he would be willing to allow Council to make such comments before the
vote is taken. No one expressed any objections to allowing the comments.
The meeting adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
