CALL TO ORDER

The August 18, 2008, "Pre- Meeting" Work Session was convened at 5:45 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Carroll, Crane, *Ferguson (arrived at 5:50 P.M.), Harvey, Klindt, Koon,
Layton, Medin and Penfold, and Randolph
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Mayor John Landwehr will ask fora motion to amend the agenda to take up Public Hearing
items (d) and (e) in case there are several citizens there to speak on those issues.
Bill Pending 2008 -33 (Preliminary PUD Plan on 3421 W. Truman Blvd.) - Councilman
Dan Klindt stated that a substitute bill has been distributed which corrects a clerical error
in the address of the property from 3421 W. Truman to 3241 W. Truman. He stated a legal
opinion distributed from City Counselor Nathan Nickolaus has indicated there should be no
legal problems with having a substitute bill to correct that error.
*Councilman Kenneth Ferguson arrived at this point in the meeting (5:50 P.M.)
Mayor John Landwehr asked if Council wanted to take up Bill 2008 -44 after the public
hearing on that issue, as well as a new resolution, RS2008 -21, which was just distributed
at the pre- meeting, immediately following Public Hearing Items (a), (b), and (c). The
Council did not object; Mayor Landwehr stated he would entertain a motion to amend the
agenda to do that as well as to add Resolution RS2008 -21 to the agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
