PROFESSIONAL SERVICES cONTRACT FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES

WHEREAS, there exists a need fo[ professio~xa]
service~ to. provide construction seuV.Lces in
connection with the Borough's ICl and ReductiOn
Program- Sewer Seperation of Repair contract; and
WBEREAS~ pursuant to N.S.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a)
professional services are exempt from the
~equirements of competitive bidding; and
WHEREAS, the local finance offjce~ has certified
that funds are available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor aud
Council of the Borough of Cauteret does hereby
nf Killam Associates at a
approve the appointment
per attached contract.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Borough
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said
contract.
IT iS FUTHER RESOLVED that the contract is awacded
without competitive bids in accordance wLth
N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(i)~a) due to the specialized and
professional nature of the serv:[ces provided.
Adopted this 14th day of November,
2000 and certified as a true copy of
the original on November 15th, 2000.
