Good evening Chief Flowers,
I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional service provided by your department,
particularly Marine Patrol Officer Cole.
Last week, I had the opportunity to take my two children out on a jet ski in the bay. Despite living in
this area for over 13 years, it was my first time operating a watercraft in these waters. Unfamiliar
with the rules, regulations, and intricate divisions within the bay, my actions caught the attention of
Officer Cole from the Bal Harbour Police Marine division.
Encountering a police boat and being "pulled over" can be quite intimidating. However, Officer Cole
displayed an exceptional level of professionalism, patience, and compassion throughout our
interaction and in the execution of his duties.
The reputation of the Bal Harbour Police Department's officers for their professionalism has always
preceded them, and I am delighted to affirm that Officer Cole exemplified all the commendable
qualities for which your department is known.
I extend my gratitude for your dedicated service to our 33154 community.
Sincerely,
Shlomo Danzinger

Good morning Chief Flowers,
This e-mail is being sent to commend your staff for delivering outstanding service. My Name is
Charles Hollis, I am a Bus Traffic Controller with Miami -Dade County Dept of Transportation & Public
Works in the Bus Central Control Center. On several occasions I do have to make calls for service for
police response dealing with incidents onboard our transit buses and the level of service received by
you staff is always outstanding and professional. From the initial call into dispatch until the officers
respond on scene to conduct the investigation it is always a pleasure working alongside with your
department. This morning I entered a call for service reference a disturbance onboard one our buses
at the 9800 block of Collins at approximately 08:52, your units responded in a timely manner to
assist our bus operator, we even received a callback from the dispatcher following up that units
were on scene assisting. The level of service provided reflects well on yourself and your team and is
greatly appreciated and I commend the members of your staff and department. Have a great day.
