Committee members present were Patricia Busch , Tom Turcketta , Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , Bruce Ten Eyck and Michelle Tero ( Secretary ) . Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist and George Carey were absent . SCHEDULED APPLICATIONS D-& 19-98 Sarah Stranahan, 810 Main Street, Map 26 Lot 45 Cottage Demolition ■ Owner Sarah Stranahan and landscape architect George Reilly attended . ■ Ms . Stranahan is proposing to demolish the 4th former motel cottage . The other 3 cottages were previously demolished and are in the process of being rebuilt . ■ The committee agreed that this building is not historic . ■ Patricia Busch moved to approve as presented . Tom Turcketta seconded . ■ All voted in favor . W& 19400 Michael Decker & Frances Zepeda , 59 Fox Meadow Drive, Map 90 Lot 177 New Deck ■ Contractor Kenan Twomey described the proposed enlarged new deck replacing the old deck . ■ Vinyl will not be allowed . ■ There will be a skirt around the perimeter . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to approve as proposed . Patricia Busch seconded . ■ All voted in favor . .1 . 1 f .� .f _ l , _ _ n � 1 i, Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of June 3, 2019 Meeting S-&19401 June Herold, 1357 Main Street, Map 47 Lot 19 New Sign ■ Heather Crombie represented her partner June Herold to discuss the application to relocate their sign to the east side of the driveway so that it will be more visible from the road . ■ The new sign will be wood painted white and will replicate the previously approved "Quilt- ish " sign . ■ The vinyl lettering requires a matte finish . ■ Dangles will include "Quilts" and " Fabrics" . ■ Patricia Busch moved to approve as presented . Bruce Ten Eyck seconded . ■ All voted in favor . S-649402 Town of Brewster/Council on Aging, 1673 Main Street, Map 56 Lot 7 New Sign ■ Brewster Council on Aging Director Denise Rego attended the meeting . ■ The proposed new sign will be designed based upon the recent new Fire Station and Natural Resources signs . ■ Mrs . Rego also described the interchangeable plaques located below the sign . ■ Dangles will possibly include "Support the Troops " and " Ice Cream Social " . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to approve as written .
