Gonzalez, Village Manager r� Date: November 4, 2022 Subject: Miami Book Fair Sponsorship & Bene its The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you with an overview of our sponsorship benefits and activations of the upcoming Miami Book Fair. This annual event transforms downtown into a literary wonderland, hosting hundreds of critically acclaimed authors in multiple languages. Topics range from politics, pop culture, to all manners of impactful prose. This year, the Miami Book Fair is scheduled for November 13 - 20, 2022, at Miami Dade College, and we are excited to be a Supporting Level Sponsor. As part of our sponsorship, we are a host of the Author Session with Moshe Safdie, taking place on Sunday, November 201". We have reserved 40 seats for this event, with preferred front -row seating. All Bal Harbour residents and guests in attendance will also receive admission to the Street Fair for that same day, which runs from 10 am - 7 pm. This open-air marketplace boasts hundreds of exhibitors, local artisans, live music, art, performances, and games, as well as activities for kids at Children's Alley. If you are interested in attending this author session with Moshe Safdie, please RSVP to Marie or Sylvia. In addition, we have 10 admission tickets for the Street Fair on Saturday. If you would like to attend the Saturday Street Fair (November 19), please RSVP to Marie or Sylvia. Finally, we also have access to a limited number of tickets to many other weekend presentations that are all taking place at Chapman Conference Center.
