RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
DECLARING AND CERTIFYING THE ELECTION
FOR DIRECTOR—WARD 6 OF THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL OPEN SPACE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, an election for the office of Director—Ward 6 of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space
District was held on November 5,2002;and
WHEREAS, on November 26,2002,the Chief Elections Officer and Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder of
the County of San Mateo certified the election by submitting to the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula
Regional Open Space District the Certificate of the Chief Elections Officer certifying that Larry Bassett received
the majority of the votes cast.

NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open
Space District,that,pursuant to and in accordance with Section 5532 of the Public Resources Code,that
Larry Hassett
is hereby declared and certified as elected to the office of Director—Ward 6 of said District for a four-year term
commencing on January 6,2003, is duly qualified for the office of Director—Ward 6 of the Midpeninsula
Regional Open Space District,and serve as the elected representative by a majority of the votes cast at the
November 5, 2002 general district election for said office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District
this 1 lth day of December, 2002 by the following vote:
