1 . Approval of Minutes
Potential vote to approve draft meeting minutes of 5/14/19
2 . Presentation by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue
Dana Ackerman from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue will discuss the process
for collecting Massachusetts room occupancy taxes and distributing the Water Protection
Fund Excise to the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund, Management Board
members will have an opportunity to ask questions.
3. Report from the Management Board Bylaws Subcommittee
The chair of the Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board Bylaws
Subcommittee will provide an update on the development of bylaws. Management Board
members will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the development of the
bylaws.
4. Discussion and Potential Vote of Alternate Posting Location
The Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board members will
discuss and potentially vote whether to adopt their website as the official notice posting
method for posting meeting notices in accordance with the Open Meeting Law (M. G. L. c.
30A § 18 -25) and its regulations (940 CMR 29. 00).
S . Member Reports
Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund Management Board members, including ex-
officio members and non -member community representatives from Dukes and Nantucket
Counties, will have an opportunity to provide comments and reports on local water
resources initiatives.
