CALL TO ORDER
Council "Pre- Meeting" Work Session of July 2, 2007, was convened at 5:50 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Brown, Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Koon, Layton, Medin, Penfold, and
Smith
Absent: Klindt
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGEN
DA ITEMS
Mayor John Landwehr requested that Councilman Brian Crane make a report at the July 16
Council Meeting regarding the National Emergency Management Institute training which he
attended in Emmitsburg, MD.
2007 -34 (Tour of Missouri Bicycle Race)
Discussion was held regarding whether to suspend the rules and take up this issue tonight
since the city has still not received the answers to questions about insurance related to the
contract. Councilman Brian Crane suggested voting on the issue at the July 9 Work Session.
2007 -31 (demolition contract amendment on the W. McCarty Street properties)
Councilman Jim Penfold suggested tabling this bill to allow more time to discuss the issue and
consider further proposals for the W. McCarty Street properties.
The meeting adjourned at 6:02 P.M.
