September 21, 1989 n OJ , ,,. Mrs. Evelyn Wells ' Honorable Chairperson and Boardmembers --• Lynwood Redevelopment Agency ... 11330 Bullis Road ' . Lynwood, California 90262 , RE: Proposed Marie Callender Restaurant Dear Mrs. Wells: ; , The City of Lynwood certainly needs an upscale restaurant; `. the Project Area Committee was pleased to learn that there ' was' a possibility a Marie Callender's restaurant would open in the Towne Center. ' The forecasts from the market analysis indicated that the Towne Center would be an excellent location for such use. ` However, since there has been a change in Marie Callender's management, the Project Area Committee has suggested that the Agency seriously consider other restaurants for the Towne Center site, in case the Marie Callender plan does not ° come to fruition. ' Therefore, the committee recommends that the Agency attempt , to bring in other restaurants such as: International House of Pancakes, Denny's, or Bob's Big Boy. Your consideration is appreciated.
