SUBJECT: Consideration to Retain Aklufi & Wysocki as City Special Counsel for Bond
Financing on CFD93-1 Improvement Area 18
ACTIONS / FUTURE ACTIONS:

OPTIONS:
City Council/Beaumont Finance Authority may:
1)
Approve;
2)
Modify;
3)
Deny; or
4)
Continue
SUMMARY:
Council approved the refunding for annual savings for this CFD Improvement Area. With the current
City Attorney transition, it is advisable for consistency, timing, and cost savings to utilize Aklufi &
Wysocki in completing this refunding.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Costs will be a portion of the Cost of Issuance, payable out of bond proceeds.
