A RE SOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUN CIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, NAMING THE
PUBLIC PARK PROPERTY LOCATED AT 530 CRA NDON
BOULEVARD TO "PARA DISE PARK "; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHERE AS, the Village of Key Biscayne ("Village") acquired property commonly
referred to as 530 Crandon Boulevard and has designated the property for public park purposes;
and
WHERE AS, the Village is committed to transforming the property located on 530
Crandon Boulevard into an appealing and active public space; and
WHERE AS, after considering input from the public, the Village desires to name the
proposed park on Crandon Boulevard to "Paradise Park"; and
W HERE AS, the Village Council finds that this Resolution is in the best interest and
welfare of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THERE FORE , BE IT RE SOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF KE Y BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals. That each of the above-stated recitals are hereby adopted,
confirmed, and incorporated herein.
Section 2. Naming. The Village Council hereby names the public park property
located at 530 Crandon Boulevard as "Paradise Park."
Section 3.

Effective Date. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
