The City Council of the City of Zynvrood met in anacljourned re-
guiar session at the City Hall, 11331 ~ laza Street at 7 :30 i . ~:t. on
above date to canvass the returns of the Special P~3lanicipal Election
held i~~. said City one August 9th, 1930, and to install the newly elected
officer, all as required by law.
In the absence of ~.~ayor Snodgrass, the meeting was called to
order by the City Clerk.
Councilmen Tweedy, Skelton, Anderson and ~~~imble ansirrered the
roll call.
T~~a,yor ~:odt,;rass was absent.
City Attorney Hess was present.
thereu ~o~~ it was moved by Councilman Tweedy and seconded by
Councilman Anderson that Councilman Skelton be elected temporary Chair-
man to conduct the meeting in the absence of Riayor Snodgrass.
Roll Call:
Ayes: Councilmen: tweedy, Anderson and Kimble.
Does : None.
Not Votino~: Cot?neilman Skelton.
Absent: r~yor Snodgrass.
Thereupon Councilman Skelton took the chair.
It tivas moved by Councilman '~ndersor_ and seconded by Councilman
Tvreedy that the reading of the previ ous minutes be dispensed vrith .

Noes : T?ore.
Absent: lt~ayor Snodgrass.
Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Tweedy and seconded by
Councilman Anderson that we proceed vaith the canvass of the returns
of said election.

Ayes: Counci'r~en T~~reedy, Anderson, Kimble and Skelton.

Absent: P~iayor Snodgrass.
Zt was moved b~T Councilman Anderson and seconded by Council-
man Tweedy that Councilmen Kimble and Tweedy be appointed Tellers for
the canvass of the returns of said election.

9TH,1930,'~ was read. It was moved by Councilman Xndersonand seconded
by Councilman Kimble that said T~esolution No. '727 be adopted.
Roll Call :
Ayes: Councilmen Tweedy, Anderson, Kimble and Skelton.
Noes: None.
Abseet: 1t7ayor Snodgrass.
At this time the CityClerk presented the Certificate of Elec-
tion to TYTont Williams the newly elected aouneilman, and administered the
oath of office to said Mont Williams, whereupon councilman Williams took
his chair at the Council table and temporary chairman Skelton vacated
the chair as Chairman.
Thereupon it ti;ras duly moved by Gouneilman Tweedy and seconded
by Councilman Kimble that Anderson take the chair as chairman.

Ayes: Councilmen ~~illiams, Tweedy, Kimble and Anderson.
T~Toes : Tdone .
Absent: 1'{Tayor Snodgrass.
It was moved by Councilman -Tweedy and seconded by Councilman
Kimble that the meeting adjourn to August loth, at 7:30 T?. T.Zoton
was carried and so ordered.
