The Cite Counc it of the City of Zyncvood met in a special session
at the ~%itV Hall, 11.331 Plaza Street on above date at 10:00 A. b2. as per
call.
Councilmen ~yillis.ms, Tweedv~ and Snodgrass were present.
Absent: Councilmen -"~nderson and Nimble.
It v~ras moved b~ Councilman Tweed~~ and seconded by Councilman
i'7i11iams that the reading of the minutes of the previous adjourned re-
gul~,r meeting of November 25th be dispensed vrith. i,'~otion was carried
and so ordered.
The call was read b the Clerk, reading as follows:
"Dear Councilman: You are hereb.~ notified that a special
meeting of the Cit;,, Council of the Cite of TTnvJOOd, e~;ill be held at
the City Hall, 11331 Plaza Street, at 10:00 ~. '. November 28th,
1930, to appoint a City T~~Techanic. Respectfully,Signed) F. Snodgrass,

call b~- the Clerk stating that the notice was served on all Council-
men at least three hours prior to said meeting, excepting said notice
was not served on Councilwoman Nimble as she was out of totivn.
The resignation of George ?'orter as Cit~;~ I~Iechanic to take
effect at once, was read. It w~,s moved b~ Councilman Ty~eed~. ar._d sec-
onded b~;~ Councilman ~+illiams that same be accepted.

The following written applications for City bTechanic were
received:
George .6.. 1'hierer and ~~ . C. Rice ; also A. H. Fisk made oral
application for same.
It was moved by Councilman tweedy and seconded bt Councilmen
a~illiams that the matter be laid on the table to next Tuesda.z- night
to investigate the .applications more thoroughly.
