Councilman Davies reported on the Pacific Electric Railroad cross-
ing at Lu11is road, recommending that t'ne Citr Clerk be instructed to write
the Road T~iaster of said Company to have said crossing and approaches taken

Enbi.neer Bateman reported on the applications for permit to run
a gas main south of Poplar Drive on Peach by Southern California Gas Co. to
the effect that said company are endeavoring to get t}e consent of property
o-^rners to run same in the easement existing on the exterior boundary of
each Lit.
The T~ayor instructed the City Clerk to corrLmunic~te with the South-
ern California m lephone Co. to procure a sta%ement to ascertain what they
are planning on doing regarding the construction of Poles along Peach Street
south of iv`'rton A'Jenue.

A communication was received from Southern F~.zel Company, by Allen
L. Cleveland, to the-effect that it is agreeable to the Southern Fuel Com-
pany that tre City of Lynwood replace any pavinf disturbed by them on At-
lantic 3oulevard, of*~'erin to pay the City at the rate of x.50 per square
foot of concrete so replaced. Councilman Davies addressed the Council
questioning I.Tr. T~Ziller, representing said Company, what said company would
'~e willi:ng to pay for use of the roller for. tamping purposes on the back-
