will soon :~e ready :~~or action by the Council which tivi11 regulate dog

irmediate vicinity of Redwood and State Street opposing tie erection

it has evidently been missent, and thereupon refierred the communiea-
tior_ to the city Clerk to be sent to the 1'~merican Zegion.

Stores, Inc., truck at the northeast corner of Lon; Beach Boulevard

same; also suggesting that the council consider insuring said metal

rather than t}~rou,~;h the medium of reduction in wage or salary schedules
and offering their assistance in salving such problems. There being

also suggesting that the City be zoned in particular districts for
manufacturers as in several inti,-l~w~ces manufacturers have refused to
locate their factories adjacent to their property because the com-
munity have not taken enough interest in the welfare o~' the manufact-
urers to zone a district ~'or their use; alsb diving a sw~ir~ary of their
growth at their Lyntivood factory. 1'he 7;~ayor st:ted that in his opinion
this is a matter that should be taken care of by the Chamber of Com-
merce ~:,nd that it is not up to the Council to procure dedications from
property owners for street purposes ar~d therefore felt that no action
is necessary and thereupon ordered said communication filed.

inance regulating incinerators to the effect that Councilman Sny-
der have met on same as yet, su; Besting that a para~~raph be i~~;-
serted in the proposed nuisance ordinance to re:;ulate ineinertors.
The ~::ayor instructed Councilman Snyder, City ~'.ttorney Hess ~~nd the
City Clerk to get toether and draft a clause to be inserted in
the ruisanee ordinance to re;~uiate incinerators, ar~d a:! so look up
on the matter of time for burning therein.

Street, stating thata satisfaction of the judg~rnent had been sign-
ed previously, but same v~ras defective in that the Clerk had taken
the aoknorrledement of the T~.rayor, whereas same requires a idotary

'oy Councilman anyder that the I'ayor be authorized to sign the
satisfaction of Judger_~ent for and in 'oehalf of tyre City of Lynwood.

stating that he had. possession until April 10th and election eras
held on April 9th., stating that he could submit proof throu;;h
the Security-First T4ational Bank of said date. Thereupon it was
moved by Councilman Snyder and seconded by Councilman Davies that
the clerk be instructed to communicate with Dr. Richardson, rer;uest-
ing that he submit his proof for same.

confirming the understanding with Councilman Davies that they v~ill
pay the City 50 ee_~ts per square foot for paving and 84 cents per
square foot for unpaved surface disturbed by the construction of
the Southern Fuel Company on :^ltlantie Avenue of a pipe line.
Thereupon it eras moved by Councilman Davies and seconded by Council-
man ','illiams that the figures as quoted above be accepted.
