A general discussion was had relative to the matter. Thereupon; it was r~~o~~e~~ b„r Coun:~~;ilman Childs and seconded by Coun- ;ilman Daet~,veiler th~~~t the Cit,wr Council send telegrams to Senator 1~~cKinely, Assemblyman u11_ivan, Speaker of the Assembly hit`~le and Lientenant Gover- nor i~r'erri~om, ~.1r~;ing them to u.se the3_r utmost influence in procuring passage of As~rnbly Bills No. 159, 161, 164 ~-nd 416; also that each individual of the Co~zncil send their personal letters endorsing 'she measures, and. that each C3_ty employee be requested to also communicate vrith Senator P:IcKinely favoring the bills. °~ Roll Call' rives : Councilmen 'rrrit;ht, Daettiveiler, Childs and Davies.
