weiler that the minutes of the previous re~v.lar meeting of July 5th, 1933
be approved as written.

ayes: Councilmen Daetweiler, Childs and Davies.
Noes: None.
Absent : Councilmen Snyder and t'uright.
Requisition No. 6545 in favor of Neptune Meter Co. for purchase
"~ of 15 Trident I~Teters with couplings, signed by A. J. Bateman, tvas received
for approval.
It was moved by Councilman Daetweiler and seconded by Councilman
Childs that said requisition No.6545 be approved,

Ordinance No. 217, entitled: "An ordinance of the City of Lynwood
amending Section ll of Ordinance No. 213 of said,City, relating to vending
machines", by changing license fee, was read for the first time. It was
moved by Councilman Childs and seconded by Councilman Daet~,veiler that said
Ordinance be accepted as read the first time and pass to the second reading.

to protest or object to the proposed improvement, to the boundary of tre
assessment district, or to the assessment therefor, or to any act or proceec
ing had or done in connection with said lighting assessment, hotirrever, there
was no resbonse other tY~an Tvr. E. Hutchinson addressed. the Council wishing
information as to whether the improvement was for new standards, and the
Mayor informed him that it tivas for the ma3_ntenance of the lights that are
already installed and there would 3~e no standards installed.
