IUIayor Pomeroy of South Gate was present and was asked by T.~ayor Davies to occupy a seat at the Council table ~~^rhieh he did. It was moved by Councilman "nnder and seconded by Councilman Childs that the minutes of the previous adjourne~~ regular meeting of July 11th, 1933, be approved as written. South Gate has taken similar action some time ago, ~~nd th~~.t if the '-will ca vies it rill mean an a,~ditional amount of 3c~ on each water bill for Lynn^rood consumers, for the flat rate of w1.25. T'r,,ereupon it was moved. by Councilman Snyder and seconded by Councilman Childs that the Council go on record opposing any legislation that T.vould impose a tax on rublic utilities or other municipal receipts. Hess be retained as Special Counsel to represent the Cities interested in the cases entitled: "herman Goldberg, Plaintiff vs. County of Los Angeles, Def.'endant, and. Gil.
