CALL TO ORDER
The Council Work Session of September 16, 2002, was convened at 5:45 p.m. by Mayor
Pro Tempore Edith Vogel in the absence of Mayor Tom Rackers.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Angle, Ferguson, Groner, Klindt, Olsen, Smith, Viessman, Vincent,
Vogel, and Weber
Absent: None
A quorum was declared present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
A discussion was held regarding items on the September 16, 2002 City Council Agenda.
Councilman David E. Smith stated that the Council will have a letter from Mrs. Arbazine
DeCosta on their Council desks when they go across the hall to the Council Chambers. He
stated that apparently she and the developer of the property pertaining to pending Bill
2002 -71 (1017 South Country Club Drive) have not reached an agreement.
Councilman Larry Vincent stated he will bring Bill 2002 -56 off the Informal Calendar to allow
discussion of the issue. He stated Councilman Roy Viessman has picked up information
today from the Missouri Ethics Commission and the Council Members will find that
information at the desks as well. He stated after discussion, he will place the bill back on
the Informal Calendar so Council will have time to read all this information.
No actions were taken as the meeting was a Work Session only.
