The CitjT Counci7_ of t~^e City of Lynwood met in an ad-
journed regular session, a_t t~^? C~tv Hall, 11331 Plaza Street,

Councilmen Lake nieyer, Daetweiler and Roster answered
the roll call.
Councilman Snyder was absent.
It was moved by Councilman Lake and seconded by Coun-
cilman A~leyer that the minutes of the previous regular meeting
of August 20th, 1935 ]ae approved as written. H11 members of the ~~
Council present voting aye, the Mayor declared the motion duly
carried.
An Ordinance of the City of Lynwood fixing the rates
of taxes and levying taxes for the fiscal year beginning July
1st, 1935 and ending June 30th, 1935, was introduced and read
for the first time. It was moved by Councilman Neyer and sec-
onded by Councilman Daetweiler that same be accepted as read
the first time and pass to the second reading.

Noes; None.
Absent: Councilman Snyder.
It was moved by Councilman Meyer and seconded by ~'oun-
eilman Daetweiler that a demand in the principal amount of
300.00 for accessories and part payment on new Chevrolet Se-
dan, in favor of Enoch Chevrolet Company, drawn on the General
Fund, be a1 lowed and the City Treasurer be authorized to issue
check therefor as per warrant drawn therefor, and that the Ma-
yor be authorized to execute a contract for the balance of
the purchase price of said a~atnmorile in the principal amount
of 684.45 covering ax~eri od off' ~'C days .

It was moved by Councilman Daetweiler and seconded by
Councilman Dreyer that the meeting adjourn to Tuesday, A~;ust

ing aye, the lvayor declared the motion duly carried and it was
so ordered.
