In the absence of ~dayor Boater, the meeting was called to order by the city Clerk and upon roll call showed the following present: Councilmen Lake, Meyer, Nation and Snyder. I~tayor Bolter was absent. `i'he Clerk announced that amotion -could be in order for the appointment of a temporary Chairman and ~,~ayor pro tem. Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Nation and sec:~nded by Councilman Lake that Councilman CeQil E Snyder be appcinted temporary Chairman and iJtayar pro tem. `tlhere- upon Councilman Snyder took his seat as Chairman. It was moved by Councilman Meyer and seconded by Councilman lake ' that we dispense with the reading of the minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of idarch 10th, 136. All members of the council present, voting Aye, the Mayor pro tem declared the motion duly carried and it was so ordered. Ordinance No. 269 entitled "AN OKDINAIdCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -0F LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, CALLING FORA CONSOLIDATED ELECTION TO BE HELD IN TH'j CITY' OF LYN~~JOOD ON TUESDAY, THE 14th DAY OF APRIL, 1936, . AND SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID CITY THE PROPOSITION OF INCURRING A BONDED DEBT IN THE SUM OF T~`JO HU~~DRED AT~D NIZIETY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR TIIJ CONSTRUCTION AND~OR ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN LIGHT AT3D PO~V~R 1~'JORSS CON32STING OF A DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM FOR THE Tr~APdSMISSIOTd ATSD SALE OF LLE'CTRICITY. It was moped by Councilman Lake and seconded by Counclman Beyer that same be adopted as _read the second time, finally ~8 and_~be published as required by law. Rs11 11 Ayes: Councilman Lake, Meyer, -Nation and Snyder. Noes: None. Absent: Mayor Bolter. It was moved by Councilman IJieyer and seconded by Councilman Lake that the meeting adjourn to I~iarch 17th, 1936 at 7:30 o'clock P M.
