\ The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a Special
session at the City hall, 11'331 Plaza Street, on above date, at 4:30
P. Tai. pursuant to call of T.'layor Boster, said call reading as follows
"You are hereby notified to attend a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Lynwood for the purpose of: considering

A communication was received from City nttorr_ey Ruby regard-
in the employment of the la~v firm of U'T~~ielveney, Tu11er ~. nieyers as
soecial Counsel to wide and render approving opinion relative to
re~'unding A. Q~ I. Districts 10 and 19, advising that Nir. Beebe, their
rex~resenta.tive o^fered to handle tre ?~usiness on tr.e basis of X600
for '?istrict T`o. 10, and. X2,000 for District 19, and in case refund-
ing is not completed a fair nr^ r~?t~ o~~° comnensati_on in proportion.
to the amount of ~TOrk done, suggesting that i° the council rave in
mind tre employment of special counsel to render annnoving opinion
there is a great urgency that such counsel be retained at the earliest
xaossible date so that it can approve each and ever~T step in the pro-
- ceedings, if refunding proceedings are necessar~T to complete tl_,e
transaction.
