A communication was received from .Faulkner, Oakes ~ Faulkne wishing to do the City auditing. There being no objection, the com- munieation was ordered filed. A proposal for furnishing of gasoline for the City of Lyn- wood was received fror.^. the 'exas Company quoting prices t.~erean. There being no objection, the proposal was ordered filed for future consideration. tl comtmunication was received from Foster and ~-leiser Company regarding campaign they are carrying on to cooperate with the Tdational Association of I:~anufaeturers, enclosing miniature reproduc- tion of three posters which they will display on their poster panels during January, ~'~ebruary and ::~a,rch. there being no objection, the r,~ayor instructed the City Clerk to acknowledge receipt thereof and compliment them on their work along said line. A communication trvas received from Joseph S. Joseph renewing his applicationfor street lights at the corners of ~-Varren and Louise Streets and. corner of Louise and Ernest Streets in Lugo Park Tract, stating that they have completed a number of homes and are in the process bf constructing others, stating that lights would discourage pilfering. `There being no objection, the matter tivas referred to City Engineer Bateman to check into needs and approximate cost thereof and report his findings to the Council. Report from the City Court for month of rebruary was re- ceived, also health report. There being no objection, same were or- dered filed. ORAL COI~i,~UTII CAT I ONS Tyr. halters addressed the Council on the matter of sower accomodations in the Century Square vicinity to accomodate the 'd~ash- ington School and property owners, stating that unless the cost is very nomial to the property owner he would not favor same on account of the T~Iattaon Act bond situation that exists. :ir. ~Talters eras in- forr:.ed that the City h~.s done nothing about the matter as yet, and it is still in the hands of a cor~.mittee, and they will take the property owners into consideration when a plan is outlined that would be feasible.
