It was moved by Councilman Nation and seconded by~Council-
man Meyer that the Cit of Lynwood sell to the Board of Supervisors
of Los Angeles County 32,000.00 par value of bonds with all unpaid
coupons attached at 40¢ on the dollar, in the retirement plan for
Acquisition and Improvement District No. 19, and the City Treasurer
be authorized to make delivery thereof.

Ayes: Councilmen Meyer, Nation and Lake. .
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen Snyder and Bolter.
It was moved by Councilman Meyer and seconded by Council-
man Nation that the City Treasurer be instructed to cancel all
coupons owned by the City of Lynwood in Acquisition and Improvement
District No. 19 in order to clear said District.
Roll Call: .
Ayes: Councilmen Meyer, Nation and Lake.
Noes: None
Absent: Councilmen Snyder and Boster.
City treasurer Reed also presented a letter from Brown-
Crummer Company with coupons attached in principal amount of 105.00
of Acquisition and Impravement District No. 19, stating that they
issued a receipt for mid coupons in the name of Mrs. F. A. Ruse of
Wichita, who sold the bonds some time.in 1932 to,an account which
deposited the bonds with them for liquidation at 40¢, stating that
it is entirely agreeable with them to cancel the attached coupons at
the time the bonds are cancelled upon the understanding that if they
are compelled at a later date to account to Pers. Ruse for these coupon
that the City will pay 50¢ on the dollar of said amount.
Thereupon it wgs moved by Councilman Nation and seconded
by Councilman Meyer that the City of Lynwood agree to pay X52,.50 of
said amount should the occasion arise.

Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen Snyder and Bolter.
It was moved by Councilman Meyer and seconded by Couneil-
man Nation that the hearing in connection with the Reassessment of
A. & I. District No. 19 be continued until March 30th, 1936, at 4:30
p. m. All members of the Council present voting aye, the Mayor pro
tem declared the motion duly darried.
A demand. in the amount of X90.?6 drawn on the General Fund
in favor of Petty Cash Fund was pres~ted. It was moved by Councilman
Meyer and seconded by Councilman Nation. that said demand be allowed
and a warrant be drawn on the City Treasurer for said amount.
It was moved by Councilman Nation and seconded by Council-
man Meyer that the meeting adjourn to March 30th, 1938, at 4:30 P.11ff.
All members of the Council present voting aye, the Mayor declared the
motion duly carried acid it was so grdered.
