AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8-143 OF THE
VILLAGE OF MCCALL CODE OF 1949 PROVIDING THE
SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR ALL WATER USERS WITHIN
THE VILLAGE OF McCALL, IDAHO, BY ADDING A NEW
SUBSECTION THERETO SETTING THE RATES TO BE PAID
BY WATER USERS SITUATE OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE SAID VILLAGE AND USING WATER FROM
THE VILLAGE SYSTEM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF McCALL, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 8-143 of the Village of
McCall Code of 1949, be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows :
(A) Beginning with the first day of June, 1947,
and thereafter, the charges for water consumed shall be as
per the following schedule :
Residential Schedule :
1. A minimum charge of $2.00 per month, which
shall include 3,000 gallons per month.
2. At ten cents (io ) per thousand (1,000)
t gallons for each thousand gallons over and
above the first 3,000.
Commercial Schedule:
1. A minimum charge of $2, 00 per month, which
shall include 3,000 gallons per month
20 The next 5,000 gallons at fifty cents (50/)
per thousand gallons.
3. The next 10,000 gallons at thirty cents
(30¢) per thousand gallons.
4. The next 10,000 gallons at twenty cents
(20¢') per thousand gallons .
5. At the rate of ten cents (1(34) for each
thousand gallons over and above 28,000
gallons.
The residential schedule shall apply only as follows :
1. Where the water is used for domestic purposes
only by the owner, tenant, or lessee, and
2. Where there is a tenant or lessee, the
period of the tenancy or lease shall not be
for less than 30 days.
All other usee of water shall be classified as commercial.
(B) Beginning with the first day of October, 1954, and

theafter,- the Charges for water consumed by all water users
situated and located outside of the corporate limits of the
Village o-f McCall and using water from the Village system, , ,^
shall be double the rates hereinabove set forth in . _it
