CALL TO ORDER
The Council Work Session of December 16, 2002, was convened at 5:45 p.m. by Mayor
Tom Rackers.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Ferguson, Groner, Olsen, Smith, Viessman, Vincent, Vogel, and
Weber
Absent: Angle* and Klindt
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Consent Agenda:
Councilman Richard Groner stated he wanted to remove the following items from the
Consent Agenda: item (b), approval of Convention & Visitor's Bureau budget; item (d),
authorizing use of City Seal; and item (e), abatement of tax liens on property located at 722
E. High Street. Councilman Groner stated his opinions why the CVB budget should not be
approved. A discussion of this topic followed.
*Councilman Clyde Angle arrived at this point in the meeting (6:50 PM)
Bills Introduced:
2002 -122 — Suspension of the rules is being requested by staff.
Bills Pending:
2002 -18 — Councilman Clyde Angle stated there is a substitute bill which was in the
packet, but he plans to put the original bill on the Informal Calendar tonight and wait until
the committee looking at this issue has a chance to complete its review.
Unfinished Business:
No officials actions were taken as this was a work session only.
