REGULAR MEETING JUNE 6, 1939
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a regular
session, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, 11331 Plaza
Street, on above date, at "7:30 P. ~~Ji.
In the absence of Tvlayor Lake, the meeting was called to order
by the City Clerk, and upon roll call shovred the foli_owing
present:
Councilmen Christensen, T~eyer and Nation
Councilmen Snyder and Lake were absent.
It u=as moved by Councilman Christensen and seconded by
Councilman TJTeyer that Councilman Rtation act as Chairman a.nd R~ayor
pro tern. All members of the Council present voted aye, the City
Clerk declared the motion duly carried. Thereupon, Councilman
Nation took the chair as presiding officer.
It was moved by Councilman Nation and seconded. by Councilman
T~'eyer that the minutes of the previous re~'ular meeting of T.2ay 16,
1:~=~39 a_nd of the special meeting of Tray 31, 193° be apr~roved as read.
All members of the Council voted aye, the T~~ia.yor pro tem declared the
motion duly carried.

A eom~nunieation vvas received from P.~~rs. Grace LeGrande re-
questing' information re~^ard_ing building restrictions adjacent to
her property located at 11438 Spruce Street, protesting the location
of the garage which v!~as recently built near to her residence, as it
obstructs her view. Tb.ere being no objection, the matter was re-
ferred to the building inspector and Building Commissioner to investi-
gate and recommend such action a_s the,y deem advisable.
