In the absence of Tvlayor Lake, the meeting was called to order by the City Clerk, and upon roll call shovred the foli_owing present: Councilmen Christensen, T~eyer and Nation Councilmen Snyder and Lake were absent. It u=as moved by Councilman Christensen and seconded by Councilman TJTeyer that Councilman Rtation act as Chairman a.nd R~ayor pro tern. All members of the Council present voted aye, the City Clerk declared the motion duly carried. Thereupon, Councilman Nation took the chair as presiding officer. It was moved by Councilman Nation and seconded. by Councilman T~'eyer that the minutes of the previous re~'ular meeting of T.2ay 16, 1:~=~39 a_nd of the special meeting of Tray 31, 193° be apr~roved as read.
