Three members of Lincoln University staff
Councilman Olsen was elected by the group to chair the meeting.

Mr. Olsen opened the meeting at approximately 5:30 p.m. by expressing a desire to meet with
Lincoln University officials at least a few months in advance of the expiration of the contract.
Introductions were made including Lincoln University staffers Patrick Henry (Dean), Kent Brown
(Attorney) and Dr. Joe Simmons (Vice President).
DISCUSSION ITEMS
Questions and discussion ensued regarding the following subjects:
1. Uses of funding for equipment
2. Quality of broadcasts
3. Cost of productions
4. Lincoln University communications curriculum
5. Potential obsolescence of equipment
6. Analog versus digital technology
7. Potential grants
8. Plans for future capital purchases
9. Future of City -LU partnership
10. Video conferencing in classrooms
11. Second access channel
12. Future of funding
13. Number of viewers
14. Advertising
Councilman Ferguson moved and Councilman Viessman seconded the motion to adjourn the
meeting. The meeting adjourned at approximately 6:30 p.m.
