A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
A FINDING OF NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE CITY HALL ANNEX AND CITY
COUNCIL CHAMBERS PROJECT
WHEREAS, staff has determined that the City Hatl Annex and City Council
Chambers Project will not have a significant impact and as such propose a finding of a
Negative Declaration; and
WHEREAS, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requires a 30 day
public comment period; and
WHEREAS, on May 11, 2010, the Planning Commission initiated the public
hearing to receive public comment and on July 13, 2010, the hearing was closed and
no comments were received.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Hall Annex and City Council Chambers Project are in
conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the City Council
hereby approves the Negative Declaration which will be filed with the Los Angeles
County Records Office.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3� day of May, 2011.
