REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD
CITY OF LYNWOOD
June 20, 1991
The regular meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood,
California was held on Thursday, June 20, 1991 at 5:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers of the Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road,
Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by
the Brown Act.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lewis at 5:03 p.m..
Roll call was taken by Janice Thomas, Administrative Aide, Human
Resources Department. All members were present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Led by Vice Chairperson Bell
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The motion was made by Commissioner Gilpen and seconded by
Commissioner Swift to approve the minutes of the May 16, 1991
meeting as presented. All in favor. Motion carried.
STUDIES & REPORTS
The board was requested to certify the eligibility lists for the
positions of Civil Engineering Associate, Civil Enginering
Assistant, Assistant Director of Public Works, Street Maintenance
Worker and Water Service Worker.
The motion was made by Commissioner Gilpen and seconded by
Commissioner Swift to approve certification of the first three
lists submitted. All in favor. Motion carried.
Commissioner Swift motioned with Commissioner Litke secondinq to
approve the Street Maintenance Worker eligibility list. All in
favor. Motion carried.
Commissioner Litke motioned with Commissioner Swift seconding to
approve the Water Service Worker eligibility list. All in favor.
Motion carried.

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Chairman Lewis notified the Board that he would be absent from the
July lsth meeting.
The Board expressed their pleasure in having Department Heads speak
before their commission as it could be arranged.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to conduct, the motion was made by
Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Litke to adjourn at
5:14 p.m.. All in favor. Motion carried.
The next regularly scheduled meeting is Thursday, July 18, 1991 at
5:00 p.m..
